10 DAYS IN WATTS (2023)

In February 2023, Wishing Well Entertainment joined forces with KCET Los Angeles to present “10 DAYS IN WATTS” on both KCET and PBS SoCal. This gripping 4-part docuseries shines a light on the unbreakable spirit and optimism of the residents of Watts, a neighborhood in Los Angeles that is densely populated and underserved.

With a verité-style approach, “10 DAYS IN WATTS” takes an immersive look at the diverse and complex individuals who call this community home. Despite the challenges they face, these resilient people are determined to thrive, as evidenced by their creation of Mudtown Farms, a community garden and educational space that brings together the young and old to celebrate their shared history.

Watch this powerful and inspiring tale of hope and resilience on PBS SoCal or PBS. All four episodes will show on PBS SoCal on April 4th starting at 8pm.


LA Foodways (2019)

LA Foodways looks at the storied agricultural history of Los Angeles to understand present food waste challenges and opportunities to bring fresh foods to urban communities.

From the importance of orange crops in the 19th century to the massive scale of food waste in the U.S., the series is a deep dive into the different manners in which local organizations are coming together to ensure the future of agriculture in the region in order to identify environmentally friendly solutions for the future.

On Begley Street (2013)

On Begley Street follows noted actor and environmentalist Ed Begley Jr. and his wife, Rachelle Carson-Begley, as they built a new home under LEED Platinum-certified standards.

The streaming series earned several awards, including Best New Media at the Burbank Film Festival, Best of Show at the Aurora Awards and Outstanding Reality Series at LA Web Fest. It was also nominated for a Best Reality/Documentary Series honor at the Environmental Media Association’s EMA Awards.
